Virtual Lover

photo-1

She has a virtual lover,
no one need ever know,
that they meet every single night
in rain, in heat, in snow.

He found her in a dream one night,
guess that’s where you found me,
they stumbled, then caressed the fall
no cause for them to flee.

Sometimes when he comes to her,
the moon is grey with fear,
that he’ll have opened up his eyes
she’ll have disappeared

So if you’re virtually in love,
or truly if it’s real,
trust moonshine is for lovers
and moments they can steal
