marvels of a dream.
as today drifts into tomorrow
minds rest into the sea of sleep,
embracing all that is marvelous,
Darkness brings no fear
a warm place to rest a soul
from the cold of day

A New Moon occurs when the Moon and the Sun are in the same Sign of the Zodiac. The Sun lights up the back of the Moon, making it unable, for us, (down here on earth), to see it.
It is the phase of the Moon to begin new projects, make important phones calls, write-up new proposals, and, initiate new endeavours.
Thought you’d get up early.
Flit the day away.
before the effects of
Friday’s new moon,
got you movin’and shakin,’
starting that thing you wanted to do,
calling those guys you wanted meet,
signing off on that sale you made,
before reading it … just one more time.
But, you (returned).
Snuggled back into bed.
Chased away the blues,
with a coffee instead.
Tossing and turning, the tides pulled you out,
pushed you back in again.
Sweeping through your thoughts,
each time, bringing clarity to the moment,
when the sun would set,
the moon would peak,
and you would start your day.
hot under the collar.
Hot and cold
…you are to me.
Hot as Hades
hot property… (you are).
I’d like to own you
Whew, it’s getting hot in here
is it my hormones… or the beer?
No, I think it’s all this heat,
when you are here, fans can’t compete
with all the cheering and the screams,
that stir the coals, that burn so deep,
reminding that I’m hot for you.
Gently nudging our passions,
challenging our fears, desires, hidden dreams.
Through years, time gathers truths, lies, promises, successes and defeats to serve us at the end.
Bringing sun, moon, stars, to pass the time…
while we pass the years wondering
…are we doing it right?
Like seasons, we are new each year.
Sometimes stronger, sometimes weaker,
creating a new path in the freshly born year that lays ahead.
Given the gift of starting fresh,
what will we learn?
what will we teach?
The grass grows more quickly behind us
the weeds more quickly in front.
Throwing seeds ahead, we push to plant
before the weeds can grow.
Shining, sparkling colors bloom before
Like children taking their first step,
I strive for steady footing.
Absorbing the shock, backed by
the power of love, I won’t fall off.
